This is the official site of the Grizzly Bots, the robotics team of Bahsa High School located in Arizona. We are competing in the FIRST Robotics Robot Competition. Here at Basha we work hard to get our robot in its best condition. On this site you can see pictures of our robots and get information on our robotics team. Our major sponsor is the Intel corporation. We work hard all season to create a robot that can be used in the FIRST robotics competition. FIRST is an extraordinary organization with a dramatically relevant vision: To positively transform culture by inspiring young people, their schools and communities to appreciate science and technology. Without question, countries with economic growth aspirations need engineers and a technically qualified work force. They also need young people who are scientifically literate, inventive, and have positive values who know it is important to learn, achieve and seek informed career choices.

So far we have competed in three regional competitons. In our first year, we won the rookie inspiration award. In our second and third years, we did not win any awards, but we placed well in the competitions.

In 2006, we have set even higher goals, and we aspire to raise enough money to take our team to the Las Vegas Regional competition for the first time. We also plan on visiting the nearby junior highs to promote the interest of robotics. We plan on working as mentors to their lego leagues and inspiring the junior high students to take interest in robotics and technology.
